Delightful Links for the Weekend (with a twist)

I snapped this on my iPod during one of our walks. I love walking near the ocean.

I enjoy sharing the interesting things I find online. I’m a bit of a link junkie to tell you the truth, which is why I need to stay off Twitter (it’s like a black hole)! Yesterday I was reading Stephine’s weekend link round up and noticed that she shared a few extra things, like what she is making and also a peek at what is coming up. I thought this was a great idea! And I’m adopting it.

So, in this week’s links, and the ones to come, I’ll be sharing a few behind the scenes glimpses of things I’m doing, making, reading, and so on. I hope you find them enjoyable (and helpful).

Time sensitive posts (deals and giveaways)

$50 Carter’s gift card giveaway (ends on Tuesday). A great place to get pj’s without flame retardants (you must buy the snug fitting ones to avoid flame retardants).

All Vintage remedies courses are on sale until Monday. I am enrolled in two Vintage Remedies courses and love them.

Frugal and Green Living

eReader Girl – A new website that highlights free and discounted ebooks. A great way to save money, save paper and save space in your delightful home.

My Green Medicine Cabinet @ Rediscovering Domesticity

Trying for a Natural Life @ Jendi’s Journal – I love seeing what people are doing to live more naturally. Baby steps.

Simple Living Bloggers Pinterest board – Some simple living bloggers have joined together to create a Pinterest board that showcases simple, natural living ides from around the web.

Things I have my eye on

Silhouette Bags – I need a camera bag and love how these look stylish (and not like a camera bag at all). They can also hold a laptop! I also love that this is a company run by a brother and sister team. (The bags are 20% off this weekend, with code: Thanksgiving)

A Field Guide to Now: Notes on Mindfulness and Life in the Present Tense by Christina Rosalie.
This book looks peaceful and inspring. I want it on my bedside table!

What I’m doing

Last night I made a new vapo rub recipe that I’ll be sharing on the blog later this week. It worked out very well and is so easy!

I’ve been enjoying a lovely visit with my Dad. He lives in Australia, so getting some quality time with him is always nice.  We have been taking lots of walks in the gorgeous weather we have been having. He leaves tomorrow. I’ll be sad.

Tomorrow afternoon I am going to attempt to make a boat load of Christmas gifts in one hour! I’ll let you know how it goes.

Coming up

Tomorrow morning (Monday) the Healthy Living eBook Bundle will be back for 48 hours! $300 worth of eBooks for $29. PLUS, this time there will be $70 in free bonuses! You won’t want to miss this. The sale will go from 8am EST Monday morning until 8am EST Wednesday morning. I’ll post about it later this evening.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

What are you up to this week?

  1. Thank you so much for linking to my site! Hope you got your boatload of gifts made.
