“When I drink tea

I am conscious of peace

The cool breathe of heaven

Rises in my sleeves, and

Blows my cares away.”

- Chinese Poet Lotung

While that  quote may be a little over the top, I sure do love a good cup of tea!

A few things I love about tea:

  • The ritual of heating the water, pouring, steeping and sipping.
  • The smell of fresh herbs brewing.
  • The health benefits that so easily flow from my cup.
  • How it warms my body on a cold day.
  • How it relaxes and soothes a tired mind.

Drinking a cup of tea is a delightful thing to do on its own, but really, there are so many health benefits, drinking a few cups a day is a habit from which we could all profit.

The biggest health benefit:

Teas are a an easy an convenient way to get the benefits of herbs into your every day diet.

Other benefits include: improving heart health, boosting weightloss, and treating the common cold.

The health benefits of tea are endless because each herb has it’s own medicinal properties.

Savvy Teas and Herbs has shared some great information regarding the health benefits of tea here.

I recently had the pleasure of trying a variety of tea from Savvy Teas and Herbs. I couldn’t have been more impressed. Their teas are fresh and potent. Their customer service is excellent.

I drank my tea peacefully, knowing that the herbs and teas were fresh and had never been treated or irradiated in any way. Savvy Teas and Herbs does not use fillers in any of their products.

The overwhelming standout from drinking their tea was that it is fresh. There’s no doubt about it. You can tell!

I tried:

Organic Young Hyson Green Tea (which is quite strong)
Tummy Tamer Herbal Blend for Digestion
Early Bird Herbal Tea
Citrus Mint Herbal Tea
Organic Honeybush Red Tea (I’d never tried red tea before and was pleasantly surprised! It’s mild and tasty.)
Chamomile flowers (which I’m using to make a chamomile tincture – tutorial coming soon. These flowers smell wonderful!)

Savvy Teas and Herbs is a family-owned company that sells a variety of items which are helpful for those striving to live a healthy, natural lifestyle.

Check out what they have to offer:

Savvy Tea and Herbs has many products that would make excellent Christmas gifts (for you or someone else); like this organic tea sampler pack.
