This looks like a wonderful book! I love scrubs but good ones are terribly expensive to buy.
HI Sandy,
Thanks for stopping by. You are right, good scrubs are expensive to buy. Before I learned to make my own I’d splurge on one from time to time. It cost $20 a jar!
I love making all my own cleaning and beauty products but I would like to leave a note of caution to anyone who has a problem with sugar. Many people are clueless on the fact that our bodies absorb stuff that touches our skin. I had a friend who took a job as a baker and within two days even though she wore long sleeves, a face mask and latex gloves went into a diabetic coma. Being a baker put her in a room where sugar and refined flours swirled through the air and every place it touched her skin it was absorbed. The reason I mention this is because if you are diabetic you sure wouldn’t want to use a sugar scrub. Just remember your skin will absorb anything it comes in contact with.
Thanks Cherlynn. That’s a good point.
you can also use salt and make salt scrubs instead of sugar…I use both.
I absolutely love the Brown Sugar Scrub!! So awesome.
Thanks Hyacynth. I love the brown sugar scrub too
I’d love to have some simple and frugal scrub recipes to use! I’d like a change of pace from my usual baking soda (blah!) scrub…but I don’t want to spend a lot of money on a scrub…this book would be perfect!
THANKS!
I would love to try the Lavender-Peppermint Facial Smoother. I’d also like to check out the Essential Oil Guide. I’ve just started buying some essential oils and I’d love to read what Stacy has to say about them!
the ■Lavender-Peppermint Facial Smoother caught my eye!!
Great blog! I love natural sugar srub products and will have to try a DIY. I normally buy from my company but it would a great project to experiment and crafty enough to do with my daughter. Thanks so much for sharing.

I hope you do try out your own scrubs. It’s super easy and a great project to do with kids.
I was wondering if I ordered this book how much shipping would cost. I live in Guadeloupe, in the carribean.
F-97126. Or maybe you don`t even ship here….
Looks great. Bio products are huge here in `France`. And it would be great to make for family and friends.
Steff.
i would love to make that Lavender-Peppermint Facial Smoother and Morning Coffee Body Scrub. I’ve read that coffee grinds help lessen the appearance of cellilite.
Where can i buy a book guide
Yummo!! I love these scrubs, I’d like to try anything with Vanilla!!
cant wait to try making these scrubs
Fresh citrus sounds perfect for this hot weather
I’m not sure how to pick – I wanna try them all!! I think the one I’d make first would be the Morning Coffee Body Scrub. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Hi Stacy
I was wondering could men us the body scrubs as well. If so what do you recommend.
Thank you so much i just received the e-book i’m sure am gonna enjoy it.
thank you
Sylvia
Hi Sylvia,
Yes, men can use the scrubs. I think the soapy scrub is quite manly, and also the coffee scrub. I would just stay away from the flowery scents, since they are a bit girly
Happy scrub making!
